Storms Never Come to Stay They Just Show Us How Bad We Need Each Other

If you follow my blog, you know that it has recently undergone a makeover.   Not a big one, just a small facelift per say.  If you don't follow my blog and have just stumbled onto this post, welcome!  I am so glad you're here.  Take a few minutes to look around.  While I was trying to put together my blog header, I ran across a lack of pictures that I felt really expressed me and what I love/what I do.  (Well, what I really do right now is not exactly routine so there isn't any way I would want to put that into pictures... No one wants to see me in my pj's all day pretending I'm on summer break from college.)  (P.S. If you've just tuned in while that sounds rather luxurious to just lay around all day, I'm actually on the path of recovery from an awful spell of migraines.. as in one a day for at least a couple months, not so much fun or luxurious I'd rather be out there doing things with my life like having a real job and meeting new people.)
But anyway, back to what I was saying, I found that I mostly express my life through instagram photos.  Which is nice, but not exactly the quality you look for when trying to put together a blog header.  For that you are looking for real pictures.   It's not like I don't have a real camera either.  I have an extremely nice Nikon that I hope one day will help me make a living as a photographer.  So why am I not out taking pictures with that real camera instead of taking every picture I love with my iPhone?  I'm not 100% certain I can really answer.  I recently read an article explaining reasons why professional photographers take pictures with their phones instead of their cameras.
I think my main reason why is because I love candid pictures.  I love those pictures of people laughing and talking and just being relaxed.  As soon as I pull a camera up to my face people freeze and pose.  Around my family it's getting less that way but around just normal people it's easier for me to take pictures with my iPhone without anybody ever knowing, except maybe my brother (who has eyes like a hawk and detests the fact that I practice my skills on everyone in my family).   That and the simple fact that after a while the camera gets so darn heavy.  And I always want to tote around all my lenses because if I try and take a picture but need the lens that I left at home I just get so frustrated.  But that's just me.
My instagram pictures complied to make my banner.
It didn't quite look like I wanted (but you can see some elements from it in my new banner).

Okay, so I've already told you how much I love music and finding new bands.  (Once again if you're new to the party, check it out here.)  Well I just found this amazing guy who is just starting his career, his name is Marc Scibilia, not exactly the easiest to spell I know but he's worth checking out.  The one song he has out now was already featured in the closing scene of Bones (Season 7 Episode 7, Prisoner in the Pipeline) if you were curious.  His song is called "How Bad We Need Each Other" and my title for this post comes from it.  If you click on the link and watch the video, the beginning is of a trick his dog can do.  I'm completely in love.  I definitely enjoy any song that is in this genre.  Best thing about Marc, besides his incredible voice, crafty way with the guitar, and adorably cute puppy dog?  His devilish good looks.
Wow, before I go any further. Any review on here is all done out of the goodness of my heart and my true feelings. As much as I wish I were getting paid by someone to write this blog, I haven't figured out exactly how to do.  I do feel like I may have gone over the top in my review about Marc.  I'm not trying to sell you on him or his puppy dog.  You'll either like his music or you won't.  But for a moment, I think all of us girls can bask in what we wished was typical singer-songwriter looks (because then more men would look like him).
On a very quick side note, as much as I joke about good-looking men, I can personally attest to the fact that looks are not everything.  If you aren't beautiful on the inside, your beauty on the outside means nothing.  Looks fade, but personality only gets stronger.  (Life lesson number 1,001)
