I Fell In Love With Her Longing

I love books.  I always have and I pretty much always will, or at least I hope I always will.  I definitely love reading.  But as an English major, I quickly got burnt out on it.  I had to read books like Anna Karenina for Tuesday Thursday classes (and any college student can tell you that means you have no life).  So honestly, I preferred my social life + sleep over actually reading the book.  I know I definitely missed the best book ever (it's on my to read list).  Which also meant that I only read books for class.  Not that I stopped loving reading, it just became more like work and I enjoyed doing other things more.
Then I started reading the first Sookie Stackhouse novels during the time I ran/walked on the treadmill (only during that time.. so only about 2-3 chapters at a time).  And I fell in love with reading again.  Completely in love.  I've been slowly chipping away at Gone With the Wind, but it's still a slow read for me (very weird, but with all of the descriptions I always feel like I'm reading more than I actually am).  But I take breaks from this book for quicker reads.  Of course, I've read the Hunger Games series.  Which the Hunger Games' first movie was extremely wonderful.  It is the best book-to-movie I've seen in a long time. I almost want to say since the Old Hollywood days, but that might be taking it a little too far.
I've been reading this since Christmas in Hawaii.

I worked on cleaning my closet again today, which is more half clothes closet half library.  I worked on the library side of things.  I ended completely rearranging my books and finally getting them somewhat organized.  They were mostly all in stacks above my bookshelves rather than actually being in them.  As you can see in the pictures below some of the stacks stayed, but I think it's the only way all of my books are going to be able to fit on my shelves!  I still have at least 20-30 books scattered about here and there from my last semester in college and just from me reading them and never putting them back (because there really was no room)!  Also I know I have at least another bookshelf full of books down in Oxford still at my parent's condo, but I guess they can stay there until I have a place to put them.
These are my "classics" shelves (a "have read' and a "to read" shelf)
Just another little glimpse of everything I've organized today.
(Yes, those are Gossip Girl books from my High School Days)

I've always dreamed of a library room of my own.  One that is nothing but shelves and shelves of books (I haven't decided if they are actually made into the walls or not) that's something that I'll decide later.  But if you look at my "Dream Home" pinterest board, probably half of the pins have to do with bookshelves.  I'm a little bit obsessed.
