My Body Tells Me No, but I Won't Quit 'Cause I Want More

As I mentioned earlier this week (Sunday), I've been reading this amazing book about wedding photography by Jose Villa, who in case you're not in the photographer community (read: you don't stalk photographers on their websites/blogs/facebooks) or you haven't looked at who the photographer in pretty much all wedding magazines/featured on a ton of blogs, is an amazing photographer.  I've been loving his book.  However, he mostly shoots with film so trying to translate that to my digital camera means lots and lots of trial and error.  So when I took the puppies for a walk, I brought along my camera and started trying to figure out my camera.  Doing that meant I needed a human test subject.  Seeing is how I'm the only one here, I was that test subject.  Yeah, I almost decided not posting because well I feel like these photos are slightly embarrassing, but the color was pretty awesome.  When my parents get home I'm going to try and convince them to help me out some and let me photograph them.  But until then, I'm all I've got.  Hopefully you won't think I'm a huge nerd.
