Today we celebrated my grandmother's 89th birthday. Her actual birthday isn't until Sunday, but because we are going to be gone to the lake we had to celebrate a couple of days early. It seems like just a few days ago we were gathered to celebrate her birthday (last year). Last year almost everyone was in attendance but this year the party was only my parents, my aunt and her husband (Dad's sister and brother-in-law), my grandmother, her elderly gentleman friend, and me. Dinner was still a blast though (and with it being less people, it was easier to talk to everyone).
