'Cause There's a Fine Line Between a Skewer and a Decent Sense of Humor

As I am writing this there are 95 more electoral votes to be tallied and it looks like President Obama might win a second term.  Whomever wins they are being put in a position of authority over me to glorify God in some way.  While I voted, I'm pretty much over the whole election and election process.
I'd rather dwell on things I can actually change.  Like my NaNoWriMo story.  I've finished a whole legal pad worth of writing (it only had 48 pages) and I've moved on to my second pad.  Writing it out for me helps with the thinking process more so than typing.  Something about making the words is different.  I don't know.  I do know that last time when I worked on the computer, I'd get distracted or write myself into a corner (a lot).  So I'm just guessing how many words on average will end up on a page and taking it from there.  I'm thinking that 200 words can fit on a page so I'll need to write 250 pages, but I want to give myself some growing room just in case my math is off, which it could easily be.  So I'm adding 10-20 pages of extra story to give myself some padding.  I don't know when exactly I'm going to type it all up, but sometime.
I'm really missing a cork bulletin board or magnetic something that is on the wall.  I have notecards taped to side of my bookcase (with wash tape so it won't ruin anything).  But I have other notecards that I would need to take down and put back up (where cork would definitely come in handy).  I can see myself in the future being extremely organized when I write.  I didn't used to be so organized, but I think I'm finally starting to see how I work best and organize accordingly.  Somethings have to be in perfect order and others it doesn't really matter.  (Yes, I know I'm strange).  I've also counted out how many pages each of my legal pads have (they've all been used before) and I'm going to be like one pad short.  I'm hoping the Condo in Oxford has a few more I didn't snag before I came home.  We'll see.  Oh and I am in love with post-it notes.  You should see my weekly calendar for Click I have blog ideas stuck on certain days in one color, events I'm going to post on Facebook in another, events Click is covering in a different color than that, and a few more categories stuck all over everywhere.  I've tried just writing the information just on my calendar but then things change and I mark out and it starts to look messy.  So I've been waiting until it really happens to write it on my calendar.  Again, I know I'm strange and have a bit of the OCD thing going on, but it works for me.
My favorite lyrics from the song below is: "If all we talk about is money Nothing will be funny, honey And now that everyone's a critic It's makin' my mascara runny" and "If we don't get a new situation For our busted country, we're lazy" (P.S. this is said by people every year no matter who is in office.  If we're not on the rise, we're on the decline.)
